There never seems to be enough hours in the day. Whether it’s because I’m busy with work, getting chores done or napping because I just need a few more hours of zzzzzs…One thing I feel I don’t do is put enough quality time into ME.
Don’t get me wrong, I can be ridiculously lazy at times so skip the washing up in favour of catching up on the latest Masterchef or ignore the laundry to spend an age falling through the YouTube wormhole that is funny cat videos so I have a lot of time to relax but is it actually time spent in the best way?
I’ve totally given up on resolutions for the new year because I’ve never actually been successful in any that I’ve set myself. What I want to do instead is just get into good habits which sounds a lot nicer, hence the year of “Me” time (capital letter there because I’m extremely important and stuff but so are You 😀 )
Over the year I’m going to try out some different things that will just help me stop for a few minutes, 10 minutes, an hour…whatever. Crohn’s doesn’t like stress, neither do I so it’s time to kick the arse out of stress this year!

P.S. I could include food and diet in this but that’s a whoooole other kettle of fish… 😉
